Tom Heck, DVM
Owner and Veterinarian

Dr. Tom Heck is a Kansas native who joined the staff of Cilley Veterinary Clinic in May of 1998. Before becoming owner of Cilley Veterinary Clinic in 2014, he was an associate Veterinarian at the clinic for 16 years.

Dr. Heck earned a bachelors degree in Environmental Science and Biology from The University of Kansas in 1991 and went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from KSU in 1998.

Dr. Heck lives in Contoocook, NH with his wife Karla, son Ian, and their 3 rescue dogs; K.C., Howie, and Murphy (who can often be seen greeting our clients here at CVC). The Heck family also has 3 cats, and several chickens.

During his spare time, Dr. Heck enjoys riding his mountain bike and working on tractors.

Dr._Jane_B

Jane Barlow, DVM 
Veterinarian

Dr. Barlow is a New Hampshire native that has earned degrees from both Bates College in Maine, and the Atlantic Veterinary College at the University of Prince Edward Island. Jane joined our team in 2018, but has been bringing her cheery smile and upbeat personality to the field of animal health since 2006.

At home, Jane has three field-bred English cocker spaniels named Pearl, Flip, and Ollie as well as 2 orange cats, Clark and Eddie. In addition to her critters, her family includes her husband, Adam, and her two children, Hannah and Owen. She enjoys skiing, gardening, knitting, and quilting.

From Henniker, NH, Laurie brings to our practice an Animal Science degree and over 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. At home she has 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 rabbits, and 2 horses. She loves hiking, kayaking, snowmobiling, and going out on the water on her boat.

Brooke has been a technician with us since 2003. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Animal Behavior. Brooke lives in Dunbarton, NH with her husband Tim, two daughters, and their dogs Copper and Lucy. Brooke and her family are passionate about animal rescue, and exemplify this by fostering dogs and puppies throughout the year.

Lynda started working with us in 1987. With over 30 years of dedicated service, she is our longest serving staff member. Lynda lives in Bow, NH, with her husband Dave and their two children. Her family also includes a sweet Labrador Retriever, Cooper, and their rescue cat, Gio.

Aileen joined our staff in 2006. She earned her Veterinary Technician degree from Becker College, and her Animal Science degree from The University of New Hampshire. She lives in Concord with husband Tom, and their three boys. Their family also includes one dog, Tater Tot, and two orange kitties, Harry and Marv.

Sarah joined our team in January, 2016. She achieved her Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences Degree at St. Anselm College, and her Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology from Great Bay Community College. Sarah lives in Allenstown with her fiance Matt, and has two dogs – Piper and Garrus – and a sugar glider named Izzy. Sarah enjoys hiking, biking, and reading.

Currently attending Tufts University with a major in Pre-Vet Biology, Katie, who first joined our team back in early 2020, hopes to become a veterinarian. She’s always enjoyed working with animals like her golden doodle Gus, and finds getting to know their unique personalities very gratifying. In her off time, Katie loves to paint, fish, and travel.

Kennel Manager

Paul joined our staff in July of 2005. Along with caring for the animals in boarding and doggie daycare, Paul performs much of the maintenance and upkeep around the clinic, and here in cyberspace. Paul has an Associate in Science in General Studies degree, a Business Administration degree, and a Management Certificate. Paul grew up with dogs at home and is a lover of wildlife and the outdoors, as well as technology.

Shaina R.
Kennel Manager

Shaina joined our team in 2007 while attending Concord High School. Shaina now lives in Manchester with her husband Chris and their three fur-kids; Shasta Daisy, a Mini-Goldendoodle, and Looper, a Bernedoodle. Shasta Daisy is a “do anything” dog – always ready to dress up in outfits and look beautiful, or go out to play. Looper is their play pup, who is always ready for activity and adventure.

When not at work, Shaina loves hiking, camping, kayaking, and skiing/snowboarding – pretty much anything outside!

Alyssa originally came into the animal care field through working in rescue, where she worked for two years (and still volunteers free time!) before joining our staff in 2022. She loves just being around animals and bettering their lives when she can. At the time of writing, she has 3 rescue dogs at home: Opal, an American Pit Bull Terrier, April, a boxer mix, and Tali, a wooly Siberian husky.

Andrea joined our team in mid-2022, and has been grooming for over 6 years at the time of writing. She discovered her love of animals early, and always knew she wanted to have her own farm someday. Today, she has that farm, populated by cats, dogs, chicken, sheep, horses, ducks, goats, rabbits, and a steer, many of which her children show in 4H.
